BrawlBRSTMs3 and GilvaSunner attacked by Nintendo, leads to one deletion
Warning: We recommend discretion for any links used in this post.

YouTube users GilvaSunner and BrawlBRSTMs3 received an unexpected surprise, Nintendo acting against the two channels in its action of protecting intellectual property. This led to the deletion of BrawlBRSTMs3. One channel, Dorion Plays, confirmed that BrawlBRSTMs3 has been terminated from the sudden hit that can be blamed on Nintendo's enforced policy against content uploaded to YouTube regarding the use of Nintendo's Intellectual Property. Nintendo's first question of the FAQ lists as this for the answer: "...However, you may not simply upload or livestream an existing Nintendo video, gameplay footage without your own creative input, or a copy of content created by someone else. For example, mere copies of Nintendo promotional trailers, tournaments, music soundtracks, gameplay sequences, and art collections are outside the scope of the Guidelines." (source) This led to BrawlBRSTMs3 taking videos of anything Nintendo related down from this Reddit post made months before their termination. There is also a forum post of a response from the ResetEra forum during the Nintendo OST purge from BrawlBRSTMs3's channel.

GilvaSunner on the other hand was pretty lucky. His channel is still available to access without any restriction, despite YouTube taking "action" to delete the videos related to Nintendo's soundtrack, a lot of which were parodied. However, Nintendo didn't let go of GilvaSunner because this tweet reveals a lot of videos "blocked" from his channel. It is still continuing to this day as of the making of this post, however there is another tweet from the operator seeing so many more videos being taken down. GilvaSunner believes these strikes are coming from Japan and not America, as suspected of Nintendo's .jp domain for their policies. This is an insightful video worth watching to know some information and a response to the GilvaSunner and BrawlBRSTMs3 situation.

This move from Nintendo did not come lightly. Lots of fans from BrawlBRSTMs3 are making their own channels to reupload content which potentially included Nintendo's music. It is likely possible that Nintendo of America is not primarily the one behind the strikes. Instead, because of the domain being a and not a standard .com, we can believe Nintendo of Japan is behind the strikes.

It is not recommended to continue pressing against Nintendo even if it is for yourself reuploading content that was once lost as it will further provoke the issue. There'll be problems here and there, and this is quite a significant issue. This news event happened recently and any further information will become available once it is updated.

We mean that you will end up pushing away something that could be your future. And we know how well it'll go if you lose it like me." - Trenchcoat
